A braid of CST LINK is held in place with clamp forceps, placed behind the most distal implant post and wrapped around it once. The braid is quickly secured locally by rapid photo-curing under blue light.
- Impression copings are fitted to the implants and the screws are protected by a plastic cover which allow for swift removal. Long laboratory screw can be used at this stage.
- Implant linking technique : The CST LINK braid is held in place by a loop on the right most distal implant coping and light cured. Then proceed under tension towards the left most distal implant, each coping being secured in position by a loop.
- The left most distal implant coping is secured in position and the procedure is then repeated towards the original coping.
- The right hand most distal coping must be encircled completely. Then the process continued on to the left implant to end with another loop.
- All fibers are the light-cured.
- To completely secure the structure, a drop of CST LINK resin is placed on each coping.
a- The translucent membrane impression tray is filled with transparent silicon and inserted on the prepared zone. During setting (2mn), continue to light-cure through the translucent silicon.
b- The translucent membrane impression tray is filled with transparent silicon and inserted on the prepared zone. During setting (2mn), continue to light-cure through the translucent silicon.
- The translucent membrane is pierced and the plastic covers are removed.
- The screws are removed.
- The impression is extracted.
- A model is produced in a laboratory with perfect positioning of the implant analogues.
